Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

&Collar wants everyone to be able to shop with us. We are working to make andcollar.com usable by people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, magnification, and other assistive technology.

Standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. WCAG is the standard referenced by the U.S. Department of Justice for ADA website accessibility.

Where we are today

andcollar.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means that most of the site meets the standard and we are fixing the parts that do not yet.

What we have done:

  • Our storefront theme was reviewed against WCAG 2.2 AA in October 2026 using automated testing on every page type plus manual keyboard and screen-reader checks of the menus, search, product pages, cart and checkout.
  • Issues found in our own theme code (navigation, carousels, focus visibility, labels and heading structure) have been fixed, and we re-test on a regular schedule.
  • Checkout runs on Shopify's hosted checkout, which Shopify maintains to WCAG 2.1 AA.

Known limitations: some content comes from third-party services embedded in the site (reviews, chat, returns and the shopping-cart drawer). We have asked those vendors to resolve the accessibility issues in their widgets. If one of them blocks you, contact us and we will help you complete your purchase another way.

Technical details

The accessibility of andcollar.com relies on HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS and JavaScript. The site is tested in current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge with NVDA, VoiceOver and keyboard-only navigation.
